Job Description:

Requirements:

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Experience:

1 year of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

Computer Experience:

Required, with proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, pdf files, and Gerber Omega software

Graphic Design Experience:

Preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Placard Production:

Create and produce aircraft placards, identification plates, and spray masks using engineering drawings and specifications

Software Utilization:

Use Adobe Illustrator, pdf files, and Gerber Omega software to design and produce placards

Equipment Operation:

Operate sign cutting equipment, wire stamper, and inkjet printer

Documentation:

Maintain proper documentation of work, including traceability of materials used

Quality Control:

Verify fabricated placards and identification plates meet engineering requirements

Inventory Management:

Monitor and maintain department materials inventory

Process Improvement:

Contribute to developing and implementing process improvements using Lean Six Sigma techniques

Additional Responsibilities:

Perform daily maintenance on equipment Comply with standard operating procedures and safety policies Adapt to sudden changes in schedule and priorities Monitor aircraft schedules to support materials requirements Perform other duties as assigned Uniform Policy

Uniform Requirements:

Purchase uniforms from designated supplier (CINTAS).

Interim Attire:

Wear navy-blue shirt/t-shirt and blue work pants/shorts (no denim) prior to receiving uniforms.
