Job DescriptionPosition Summary:
The Paint Sprayer is responsible for safely and efficiently applying stains, sealers, toners, and topcoats to cabinet components. This role ensures finished products meet quality standards while supporting production goals, maintaining a safe work environment, and contributing to overall team success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Spray cabinet parts, including doors, drawer fronts, and frames, with stain, toner, topcoat, and/or sealer to ensure even and complete coverage.

Read and follow color tag identification and job specifications.

Change spray booth filters and fire sprinkler bags as required.

Set up, switch, and maintain spray guns and fluid lines for correct color application.

Disassemble, clean, and service spray guns at the end of each shift or as needed.

Complete daily spray booth audit checklists.

Scrape and recoat spray booth walls as necessary.

Ensure all material containers are properly grounded.

Maintain spray gun cleaning kits and booth supply carts.

Notify lead or supervisor of equipment issues, defects, or process concerns.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge and Experience:
Ability to read and use fixed-gauge measurement instruments (metric and standard)Ability to complete, understand, and retain necessary schedules and recordsAbility to maintain production goals, including flexible hours as requiredKnowledge of accepted procedures for the safe and proper handling of hazardous chemicals and materialsKnowledge of product and raw materials involved in cabinet manufacturing
General Requirements:
Read, write, comprehend and carry out all written and verbal departmental instructionsMaintain clean, safe, and orderly work area, giving safety of self and others a priority.

Follow all established safety practices and procedures, including reading and understanding materials safety data sheets, lock-out policy, and entanglement policy.

Meet, maintain or exceed quality standards.

Maintain and promote positive attitude, teamwork and cooperation
Work Environment:
Manufacturing environment, with frequent exposure to wood dusts, and cabinet-making related materials.

Exposure to hot and cold elements due to non-climate controlled environment.

Wearing of Personal Protection Equipment required: eye and ear protection.

Sensory:
Frequent speaking, hearing, near vision, far vision and touch.
Physical:
Frequent head/neck static position, rotation, flexion and extension.

Frequent change in torso/back position, frequent stooping, bending and twisting.

Frequent finger dexterity.

Frequent simple grasp, firm grasp and wrist flexion.

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, crouching, kneeling, and climbing of stairs and ramps.

Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching and carrying.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive-motion tasks for the duration of working shift.
