Job Description

Make precision your trademark Join a team where craftsmanship and accuracy drive results. In this role, you will build and sustain tools and stamping dies that keep production moving smoothly and to spec. Core responsibilities Fabricate, assemble, and maintain tools, dies, and related accessories to meet internal and customer requirements. Offer input on die design and strip layout processes when requested. Perform inspections with appropriate measuring instruments to verify specifications are achieved. Calibrate and care for your personal measuring equipment to maintain accuracy. Operate and maintain tool room machinery: surface grinders, mills, drill presses, and water grinders. Keep the work area orderly and clean. Enter complete and accurate information in the Die log. Troubleshoot, debug, and qualify stamping dies. Conduct preventative maintenance on dies and document PM activities. Provide on-the-job training to Tool & Die Apprentices as needed. Evaluate and document apprentice performance and progression through the apprenticeship program. Follow all company quality, environmental, and health & safety requirements. Minimum qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 2 years of tool and die maker experience. Preferred Certified Journeyman Tool & Die Maker. Competencies Computer proficiency, applied math, and accurate documentation. Strong written and verbal communication. Team-oriented; dependable with a strong work ethic and ownership mentality. Detail-focused with the ability to prioritize. Consistent adherence to procedures. Physical & safety requirements Stand for long periods. Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs. Moderate noise environment; hearing protection required in posted areas. Safety glasses and steel-toed boots required. Must comply with all safety protocols. Explore benefits here.
