Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Tool Maker / Mold Maker to support our plastic injection molding operations. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and assembling molds, fixtures, and machine tools while helping reduce mold downtime and improve overall tooling performance. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret tool drawings, blueprints, and sketches. Disassemble, clean, repair, and assemble molds, fixtures, and machine tools. Safely and effectively operate all tool room equipment. Perform tooling-related functions as directed by the Tooling Manager. Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment. Complete all required quality training provided by the company. Submit quality improvement ideas and support continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to reducing mold maintenance downtime by 3% compared to the previous month. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of experience as a machinist, tool maker, or mold maker using manual equipment. Ability to satisfactorily operate all standard tool room equipment. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel for data entry and tracking. Experience with EDM machines is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

Pay:

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
