Job Summary To Apply for this Job Click Here A family-owned metal stamping operation with decades of stability is hiring multiple Tool & Die Makers to support high-tonnage presses and large, complex dies. This role is hands-on, production-focused, and critical to keeping presses running and customers happy.
Tool & Die Maker Benefits and Compensation:
Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM-2:00 AM Shift differential- $0.60 then $1 after 90 days Attendance bonus added to hourly pay Annual bonus paid at year-end Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off and holidays Long-term stability with clear apprenticeship and advancement paths Company events, cookouts, and milestone celebrations
Tool & Die Maker Requirements & Qualifications:
Experience building, repairing, and maintaining stamping dies Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Experience using precision measuring tools Comfortable working directly with production and press operators Willingness to work on-site in a manufacturing environment Ability to pass background check and drug screening Must haves: Troubleshoot tooling and press-related issues to minimize downtime Perform layout, fitting, grinding, and assembly of die components Support medium-to-large dies used in high-tonnage stamping Make on-the-fly tooling adjustments during production runs Document die repairs, maintenance, and tooling changes
Tool & Die Maker Preferred Background & Skills:
Experience in metal stamping environments Exposure to large or complex dies Background supporting progressive or transfer dies TIG Welding experience Interest in long-term growth through apprenticeship or lead roles
