2nd shift 2:30pm to 10:30pm Monday through
Friday Hourly Rate:
$29.00 to $36.00, + $1.00 shift bonus. Pay rate based on experience. Role Summary The Tool & Die Maker is responsible for leading complex tooling projects, performing advanced toolmaking tasks, and supporting the development of junior Tool Room team members. This role requires strong technical capability, the ability to work with minimal supervision, and a consistent focus on safety, quality, and productivity. Essential Responsibilities Lead multiple assigned projects and direct the work of other employees. Build and/or repair dies up to 5 stations. Perform bench-level design work for shop tools. Use precision measuring instruments, including tenth indicators and gage blocks. Interpret Multiview blueprints to verify and maintain gage tolerances. Perform complex staging setups. Create three-view or 3D sketches as needed. Maintain accurate numerical and written records. Interpret written specifications, shop blueprints, MOSs, and BOMs. Basic Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Associate of Applied Science Precision Machining Technology (Machine Tool) Minimum of 5 years working as Machinist. Desired Characteristics Strong safety, attendance, and performance record. Effective communication skills. Knowledge of strength of materials. Solid understanding of metal removal theory. Ability to work collaboratively with others. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of machine shop practices and tooling fundamentals.
