Job Description
Position is 1st shift, 40 hours per week, Monday thru Thursday. Job Overview The Tool Crib Attendant maintains the tools and spare parts used in manufacturing and for installations. Ensures that parts and tools are properly stored, inventoried, receive preventative maintenance, and are issued to employees when needed. Responsibilities Attend to the tooling of all jobs to conform with production schedules, meet job specifications, and utilize the tooling in the most efficient and productive manner. Prepare tooling sets and related documents for Set-Up Associates associates according to the production schedule. Assure completion and accuracy of required set-up tooling documentation. Perform incoming inspections on new tooling with the aid of Quality Technician. Collaborate with Tooling Manager/Team Leads about possible problems and improvements on tool assembly or design. Assure that all tooling is maintained, cleaned, and inspected before being stored. Set up and organize the tooling rework and reface area. Use idle time to audit/correct inventory, organize storage, and practice good housekeeping. Requirements Must have strong knowledge of tools used in industrial environments. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
