Primary Responsibilities Set up and operate conventional machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to cut, bore, grind, and shape parts to precise dimensions and finishes Fit and assemble components to build, repair, and modify dies and tooling using both machine and hand tools Inspect finished parts to verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks, and dial indicators Perform die tryout and press spotting with a high level of accuracy Troubleshoot issues and perform or report basic repairs as needed Qualifications & Skills Strong work ethic with demonstrated dependability, honesty, self-confidence, and a positive attitude Minimum of 5 years of die tryout experience preferred Experience with progressive and transfer dies Effective communication and conflict resolution skills Proficient computer skills High School Diploma or equivalent required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for the majority of the shift (reasonable accommodations may be made) Work Environment & Benefits Our facility is clean, well-maintained, and temperature-controlled.
