Job Description

MANUFACTURER OF HIGH QUALITY ALUMINUM DIE CASTINGS HDC
will provide its customers with the best quality products at the most competitive prices possible. Through the continuous training and educating of our personnel and workforce, HDC will be able to meet and or exceed our customers standards, become more efficient, more innovative and therefore more competitive in our industry. Must have a minimum of 5 years in the Tool and Die trade to apply Repair aluminum die cast dies. Collaborate with engineers and other team members to develop new tooling designs Troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge of all production tooling. Understanding of proper assembly, reassembly and troubleshooting of die cast dies and trim dies. Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces Ability to remove broken cores, bolts, punches, ejector pins,etc. Practice safety when operating mills, drills, lathes, welders, grinders Welding experience. Complies with all safety & environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements associated with Tool and Die Repair duties. Work closely with Quality Department & understanding customer satisfaction. Will train the right candidate pursuing tooling future
Skills:
  • Proficient in welding techniques, including stick welding
  • Knowledge of low voltage systems and hydraulics
  • Experience in field service for tooling maintenance and repair
  • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of logic controllers
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments for accurate fabrication
