Job Description
The Tool & Die Repair Technician is responsible for performing assigned tool and die maintenance and repair activities in accordance with established procedures, specifications, and the applicable collective bargaining agreement. The role supports production through accurate troubleshooting, precision workmanship, and adherence to defined maintenance standards.

High SchoolResponsibilitiesPrimary Responsibilities Perform assigned repairs and maintenance on dies, tooling, jigs, fixtures, and related components. Diagnose tooling issues following established troubleshooting procedures. Conduct grinding, fitting, machining, polishing, and sharpening as directed. Rebuild or replace tooling components according to specifications. Preventive Maintenance Complete scheduled preventive maintenance tasks as assigned. Inspect tooling for wear and report conditions requiring attention. Document completed maintenance activities per department standards. Machining & Equipment Use Operate approved tool room equipment such as mills, lathes, surface grinders, and saws. Maintain required tolerances following drawings and instructions.
