The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and maintaining stamping presses and ensuring that production runs smoothly. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Set up and adjust dies in stamping presses according to specifications. Operate and monitor stamping presses during production runs. Perform routine maintenance on dies and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers to verify part dimensions. Read and interpret blueprints and CAD drawings for accurate die setup. Collaborate with the assembly line team to ensure seamless workflow. Troubleshoot issues related to die performance and make necessary adjustments. Handle materials safely and efficiently during the production process. Ensure compliance with safety standards within the manufacturing facility. Qualifications Proven experience as a Die Setter or in a similar role within a manufacturing facility. Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles. Familiarity with logic controllers and their application in manufacturing processes is preferred. Ability to read blueprints and CAD designs accurately. Experience with materials handling in a production environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team on the assembly line. Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety practices.
