Temp-to-Hire | Full-time About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Grind Booth Operators for a well-established manufacturing company in Cambridge, MN. In this hands-on role, you'll help prepare and finish fiberglass parts that support high-quality product assembly. If you enjoy hands-on work, working with power tools, and being part of a production team with reliable hours, this may be the perfect fit for you. What You'll Do as a
Grind Booth Operator:
Cut, grind, sand, and polish fiberglass parts Glue and foam decks, liners, and related assemblies Move parts using carts, crates, and transport devices in and out of the booth Read and complete daily assignments from production build sheets Use hoists, overhead cranes, and hand/power tools, including drills and routers Maintain a clean and safe work area and complete routine tool cleaning and servicing Follow Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions Reinforce FLOE Core Values in daily tasks and interactions What You Need to Bring to the
Grind Booth Operator Role:
High School Diploma or GED Experience using hand, electric, and pneumatic tools (drills, saws, routers, grinders) Experience with ladders, overhead hoists, or cranes Ability to stand, bend, squat, twist, and reach for a 10-hour shift (with or without accommodations) Willingness to complete dust and respirator fit testing Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (with or without accommodations) Strong time management and ability to cross-train in multiple departments Why You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
