On 2nd shift, you'll be the go-to lead for CNC and toolroom operations—setting direction, solving problems, and keeping quality tight. Your impact Guide a team of CNC machinists, toolmakers, and support staff to deliver to plan. Translate schedules and customer commitments into an actionable night-by-night production sequence. Own quality at the spindle—confirm specifications and tolerances through routine checks and inspections. Level-up your team with hands-on training in setups, machining techniques, and safety procedures. Collaborate across functions (supervision, engineering, maintenance) to address tooling or equipment challenges. Maintain precise records—work orders, production reports, quality documentation—so every job is traceable. Keep an eye on materials, tools, and consumables; flag shortages and preventive maintenance needs before they bite. Uphold an orderly, safe workspace that meets internal standards and OSHA compliance. Drive continuous improvement to boost efficiency, quality, and team effectiveness. Must-haves HS diploma or GED (technical/trade certification preferred). 5+ years in CNC machining, tool & die work, or high-precision manufacturing. 2+ years in a lead/leadership capacity on a machining-focused team. Command of CNC operation, G/M code basics, tooling setup, and reading complex blueprints. Hands-on with micrometers, calipers, and gauges; fluent in GD&T concepts. Strong communicator with excellent organization and problem-solving agility. Comfort lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods. Proficiencies we rely on
