Job Description

We are seeking Tool Setters who enjoys working with their hands, solving mechanical challenges, and being the critical link between tooling and production. If you have experience setting molds, installing tooling, and working around plastics manufacturing equipment this is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced production environment. We have 2 shifts available 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am. Starting pay is $21/hr with a $2/hr differential pay for the overnight shift. That's $23/hr! This role is responsible for installing, removing, and setting production tooling on Aoki Injection Stretch Blow, Jomar, and Uniloy IBM machines, along with supporting auxiliary equipment. if you are mechanically inclined and have experience working on cars or any other machinery this is a GREAT opportunity! Why You'll Want This Role Work with advanced plastics manufacturing equipment Hands-on mechanical role — not stuck behind a desk Variety of setups, tooling, and machine changeovers High-impact position supporting production efficiency Opportunity to build tooling and processing expertise Stable manufacturing environment What You'll Be Doing Install and remove molds, cavities, cores, and manifolds Set up injection stretch blow and IBM equipment Connect heaters, thermocouples, water lines, and air lines Set table heights, gaps, and stretch rod positioning Perform dry cycles before turning machines over to processing Install parison molds, blow molds, trigger bars, and core rods Verify proper shimming and tooling alignment Troubleshoot setup issues and ensure production readiness Maintain safe work area and follow PPE requirements Support food safety and quality standards for tooling and equipment What We're Looking For Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience Experience installing molds or tooling preferred Plastics, packaging, or blow molding experience a plus Ability to read setup requirements and follow procedures Comfortable working with water lines, heaters, and air systems Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in manufacturing environment Team player with strong troubleshooting skills What Makes Someone Successful Strong mechanical skills Attention to detail during setups Ability to work independently Sense of urgency supporting production Safety-focused mindset Problem-solving ability during changeovers Physical & Work Environment Manufacturing floor environment Standing/walking on concrete Lifting up to 50 lbs Moderate to high noise (PPE required) Hands-on mechanical work throughout shift Apply Today If you enjoy working with tooling, setting up molds, and being the go-to expert for machine changeovers, this is the role for you.
