Job Description

Overview:
Looking for a hands-on role where you can build, prep, and finish high-quality equipment? Ōnin Staffing is hiring Paint Prep & Wrap-Up Mechanics to support the final stages of truck production—from surface prep to final assembly. 1st shift Monday-Thursday 6am-4pm Friday 6:2:30pm $22/hour 2nd shift Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-2:45am Friday 3pm-11:30pm $22/hour + $2 shift differential Saturday's are voluntary or mandatory based on production needs Overtime available Weekly pay Temp to hire opportunity Benefits after 30 days If you enjoy working with tools, staying active, and seeing a finished product come together, this is the role for you.
Paint Prep Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, buffing, and masking Clean work areas and equipment Assist painters with prep work and protective coverings Remove and protect parts prior to painting Wrap-Up /
Assembly Responsibilities:
Reassemble parts onto trucks after painting Install decals and perform touch-up paint as needed Retrieve and organize parts for final shipment Use hand tools and air tools to complete assembly Tools & Equipment Hand tools, air tools, sockets, and wrenches Sanders and buffing tools
Skills and Experience:
What We're Looking For At least 1 year of mechanical or hands-on experience Ability to use tools and work in a production environment Strong attention to detail High School Diploma or GED ( verified by a third party ) Work Environment Non-climate controlled facility (hot summers, cooler winters) May involve heights, ladders, and industrial equipment Required PPE includes: Steel-toe boots Safety glasses Ear protection Gloves and other protective gear
