Coating Finishing Specialist Aminov Search Partners La Vista, NE Job Details Full-time $20 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Join our team as a skilled professional responsible for preparing surfaces and applying coatings to manufactured products. Success in this role involves producing high-quality finishes while adhering to stringent safety protocols and production standards.
  • Primary Duties
  • Utilize specialized equipment such as sprayers, mixers, and pneumatic tools to ensure efficient and precise coating processes.
Accurately calculate and prepare mixtures of paints, thinners, and related materials using industry-standard formulas. Assess products for defects like shade variation, thickness discrepancies, or surface flaws and adjust settings to achieve optimal application. Scrutinize finished items to ensure compliance with quality specifications related to coverage, color, and consistency. Conduct regular maintenance and cleaning of all tools and workspaces aligned with regulatory and manufacturer guidelines. Training will be provided. Keep detailed records of work progress and adhere to project timelines. Work collaboratively with colleagues and leadership to troubleshoot coating-related challenges, suggesting improvements for system efficiency and cost control. Commit to supporting the organization's quality, environmental, and safety initiatives, and maintaining orderly, efficient workspaces.
  • Qualifications
  • Possess a high school diploma or GED, with additional experience in surface treatment considered beneficial. Demonstrated proficiency in basic math, including the handling of fractions and percentages. Capable of following precise instructions and addressing basic technical challenges. No certifications are required for this position.
  • Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • The position involves exposure to chemicals and noise, requiring the ability to stand for prolonged durations, operate handheld tools, and lift substantial weights.
