This full-time, first-shift role includes Fridays off, and the company is open to part-time candidates as well! Responsibilities of the Tool & Die Maker Set up and operate tool room equipment safely Build, repair, and maintain stamping dies, fixtures, and other tooling Work from blueprints, sketches, and verbal instructions Check work for quality Assess complex tooling and equipment needs and refurbish as required Troubleshoot and solve tooling problems Support production department with tooling needs; respond to shop floor calls in a timely manner Work to continuously improve tooling and reduce scrap Perform additional tasks as required Qualifications of the Tool & Die Maker Prior experience in a manufacturing environment Completion of an apprenticeship training program is a plus Stamping industry experience is a plus Demonstrated ability to set up and operate Bridgeports with Prototrac Ability to set up, program, and operate CNC milling machines and lathes a plus Strong math skills and ability to use precision measuring equipment Experience with tools and dies for forming and bending sheet metal a plus Strong familiarity with Wire EDM and CAD a plus Ability to work to tight tolerances (+/-.0001 inch) Self-motivated, dependable team player Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally We look forward to connecting with you about this Tool & Die Maker position!
