Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pelvic Health Therapist, where you will play a vital role in improving patients' quality of life through specialized physiotherapy care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work across diverse settings, including outpatient clinics, hospitals, inpatient units, and home health environments. As a Pelvic Health Therapist, you will deliver targeted interventions that address pelvic floor dysfunctions, supporting patients of all ages—from pediatrics to geriatrics—through comprehensive treatment plans rooted in physiology and anatomy knowledge. Your expertise will help empower patients to regain function, reduce discomfort, and enhance their overall well-being. Responsibilities Assess and develop individualized care plans for patients with pelvic health concerns, incorporating discharge planning and patient-centered goals. Deliver evidence-based physiotherapy interventions such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics techniques, and pelvic floor exercises tailored to each patient's needs. Manage care across various settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient units, home & community care, and hospital environments. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning and ensure seamless patient care transitions. Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems to document assessments, treatment progress, and discharge summaries accurately. Provide education on anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and self-management strategies to patients and their families. Conduct specialized therapy for diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics while considering unique care requirements such as acute care or home health needs. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in physiotherapy with a focus on pelvic health, orthopedics, preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to pelvic floor function and dysfunction. Experience with discharge planning, care plans development, and working within hospital or outpatient settings. Proficiency in medical terminology and EMR systems for documentation and communication. Familiarity with trigger point therapy techniques and orthopedic approaches for musculoskeletal issues. Pay:
$100,000.00 - $114,211.70 per year
