Job Description

Tool Room Manager Santa Teresa, NM Summary:
Manage Tool Room operations across all shifts, ensuring timely tool repair, maintenance, and production support. Troubleshoot die and production issues, maintain ISO?aligned quality standards, and provide expert tool?and?die guidance. Responsible for overall Tool Room performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Review blueprints, specs, and shop data; resolve tooling and production issues. Safely set up and operate all tool room equipment. Design and build fixtures, molds, and tooling. Manage tool room organization, supplies, and inventory. Coordinate overtime scheduling with Operations Manager. Support production teams and assist with workflow. Oversee paperwork accuracy and collaborate with production supervisors. Train employees and oversee daily tasks/projects. Machine, inspect, assemble, and heat?treat parts and tools. Recommend design improvements for dies, tools, jigs, and fixtures; develop tool specifications. Lead, train, and support Tool Room team members; standardize processes and maintain a cohesive team.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and 8+ years tool?and?die repair or related technical experience; journeyman certificate preferred. Strong leadership, analytical, and problem?solving skills. Ability to read and interpret safety and technical documents. Solid math skills (algebra, geometry, trigonometry). Tool and die experience is required. Metal fabrication experience is preferred. Working hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm with overtime as needed. Starting salary 72K ELPSO70
