Utilize Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create tooling designs and convert concepts into production-ready blueprints. Select appropriate die board materials, steel rule, punches, and other tooling components based on project requirements. Transfer, verify, and inspect design layouts to ensure accuracy before fabrication. Operate steel rule bending equipment to form steel rule profiles for die construction. Inspect completed tools and dies for defects, damage, or imperfections that could impact performance or product quality. Coordinate with Quality Control to verify tooling dimensions, tolerances, and specifications. Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications to dies, die boards, steel rule, and punches to meet customer requirements. Report quality concerns, production issues, or tooling discrepancies to the appropriate supervisor. Follow departmental procedures, work instructions, and quality standards while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Assist with additional fabrication-related duties as assigned by management. Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment in accordance with Sealing Devices' Quality Management System, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements. Qualifications Experience as a Tool & Die Maker, Die Maker, or related manufacturing role preferred. Proficiency with CAD software and blueprint interpretation. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Experience working with precision measuring tools and maintaining tight tolerances. Ability to troubleshoot tooling issues and perform repairs as needed. Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to quality workmanship. Salary ranges for this position are determined based upon the job location and can be adjusted based upon experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our individual team members. Salary for this role is $22 - $27 per hour based upon experience.
