Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tool Die Maker to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in the production of high-quality components. Your expertise will ensure that our manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and with exceptional precision. Duties Design and develop tool and die components using CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications. Fabricate tools through assembly processes using hand tools and precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers. Interpret schematics, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Conduct inspections of finished tools using precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions meet strict tolerances. Maintain detailed records of tool fabrication, repairs, and modifications while adhering to safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Requirements Proven experience as a Tool Die Maker or in a similar machining or tooling role within a manufacturing setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in machining, fabrication, and assembly techniques. Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD; experience with CAM programming is highly desirable. Skilled in programming and operation of lathe, milling machine, stamping press, and other machining equipment. Knowledge of GD&T principles for precise measurement and quality control. Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams accurately. Familiarity with welding techniques and electrical discharge machining (EDM). Excellent math skills for calculating dimensions, tolerances, and machining parameters. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot tooling issues efficiently.
