Multi-Axis Mill/Turn Machining Technician Aegis Manufacturing & Engineering Akron, OH Job Details $25 - $29 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Mechanical blueprint interpretation Machine setup Equipment setup (production tasks) Blueprint specification interpretation Machining tool setup Full Job Description Join our precision manufacturing team in Akron, OH (1st Shift) Help produce tightly toleranced medical instruments and implants by running and setting up CNC mill-turn machines. Keep production flowing, quality high, and documentation accurate.
Impact Areas Operations:
Independently run multiple CNC mill-turn platforms
Setup:
Complete setups for new/recurring jobs, set tooling for all machine types in your zone
Change Management:
Perform tool changes, change-overs, and tool size changes with minimal downtime
Quality:
Inspect parts using appropriate tools and equipment; apply advanced print reading and
GD&T Finishing:
Deburr parts to meet medical-grade standards
Equipment Care:
Execute daily preventive maintenance independently
Documentation:
Accurately complete job traveler, I.P. sheets, and maintain the First Piece Log What You Bring Minimum 2 years of CNC machine operation Advanced blueprint reading capability Deep familiarity with GD&T principles Demonstrated CNC setup experience Team-first attitude and communication skills
