Job Description
Basic Function:
Performs duties for the Engineering and Tool Room departments including but not limited to, preventive maintenance, continual improvement, inventory control, ordering, receiving and storage of spare parts. Performs housekeeping duties of the Tool Room area and storage unit. Disassembles obsolete tooling in order to salvage and store all usable parts
Responsibilities:
Support activities with Tool Room and Manufacturing to drive continual improvement efforts, for Tooling improvement opportunities, and incorporation of new technologies, improved ergonomics and reduction of scrap. Assist Tool Room personnel in the repairing and assembling of tools to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost metrics. Work closely with Tool and Die Makers to validate new and refurbished tooling. Perform minor tooling repairs to maintain manufacturing process up time. Maintain company tools and workspaces that are organized and in good repair. Pick up parts and supplies from suppliers as needed. Maintains a clean and safe work environment. Perform other duties as assigned.

1-3 years' experience in manufacturing processing and troubleshooting or equivalent.
Education/Training :
