MasterCAM experience Prior tool making experience Able to read customer drawings and sketches Must be able to accurately measure using calipers, micrometers, surface table height gauges, dial indicators, gauge blocks, and gauge pins Manual and CNC background Working in an AS9100 environment is a plus

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, and all manual tool room equipment to produce fixtures, gages or other work holding along with customer parts. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications. Verify dimensions of finished parts to ensure they conform to specifications using dial indicators, gauge blocks, calipers, micrometers, CMM's , Optical Comparators, and other quality gages . Work with engineers and operators on various shop improvement projects. Help manage and improve the company's tooling and fixturing database. Utilize hand and machine tools for assemblies and to repair and modify gauges, jigs, etc . Work collaboratively with other departments to assist in both product design and design for manufacturing. Diagnose and troubleshoot problems and perform repairs on tools and fixtures. File and finish workpieces using the appropriate hand tools to ensure products are smooth and that they fit together properly. Why This Job? Benefits offered by our client.
