Tool Prep Technician

Full Time-Monday to Friday, occasional overtime (6:00- 2:30pm, 2:00pm - 10:15pm) Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, vacation, sick pay, and 401k!

Responsibilities:

Assembles and prepares molds and trim tools to be installed into the production lines. Verify tool functionality before going to production. Clamp and stripper function properly and no water leaks. Inspect and verify all tools are correct as per work order. Labels, warehouses, and maintains accurate records of tooling. Maintain proper housekeeping. Perform all work in a safe manner and comply with the safety and quality (GMP) policies Maintain record of spare components and consumable materials for all tooling. I.e., plugs cavities insert orings screws. Use of forklift and gantry cranes to safely maneuver tooling. Any other duties assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

Strong mechanical and hand-eye coordination Excellent operator of hand and precision tools Work in fast paced environment doing multiple tasks and repetitive work Able to drive and work various mechanical equipment (forklift, crane, hand tools, saws, drills, etc.) •Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, walking, and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
