Duties and Responsibilities:

Build, assemble, maintain, repair, and modify metal stamping dies used in production manufacturing Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to ensure stamping dies remain in proper working condition Troubleshoot die‑related issues to minimize downtime, scrap, and quality defects Diagnose tooling failures and make precision adjustments or repairs to restore dies to specification Work with stamping presses to ensure correct die fit, alignment, and performance Fabricate and repair die components using manual machining equipment such as mills, lathes, and surface grinders Inspect tooling and components using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges) Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to resolve tooling concerns and improve die performance Maintain high safety and quality standards when working with tooling and stamping equipment Support continuous improvement initiatives related to tooling efficiency, durability, and performance About the
