JOB DESCRIPTION A

manufacturing company is seeking a Finish Grinder to work second shift from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Job Duties:

Set-up and tend Grinding Machines to grind various cutting inserts with materials such as PCD, PCBN, Carbide, and Ceramic Operate machine tools such as manual and CNC Grinders to produce parts Follow instructions and charts during grinding procedure Review electronic or written blueprints or specifications for a job Determine grinding speeds and feed rates, fixturing, and grinding wheel to be used Use manual and computer-controlled machinery, write basic programs, and modify programs in response to problems Perform other duties as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Job Qualifications:

Must be able to set-up and operate Grinding Machines Must have the ability to grind various cutting inserts with materials such as PCD, PCBN, Carbide, and Ceramic Must have the ability to review electronic or written blueprints or specifications Must be able to write and modify basic programs Must be motivated, dependable, and reliable Only those candidates that can pass a background check and drug screen will be considered.
