Progressive Dies Location:

Dundee, MI Shift:

1st Shift Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM start (8-12 hour shifts) Some Saturdays and occasional

Sundays Pay:

Competitive, based on skills and experience (supplier-competitive; up to ~$40/hr)

~30% minimum (approximately one week per month) Key Responsibilities Build, repair, and modify progressive dies from concept through completion Perform full new tool builds , including layout, fitting, assembly, and tryout Troubleshoot and rework tooling to meet quality and performance standards Read and interpret blueprints, die prints, and engineering documentation Use precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.) Support tooling projects at other facilities as needed Collaborate with engineering and leadership during tooling walk-throughs Maintain strong 5S, safety, and craftsmanship standards Qualifications Required Strong experience with progressive dies Proven ability to complete full new die builds independently Solid toolroom fundamentals: benching, fitting, assembly, troubleshooting Comfortable explaining tooling processes during shop walk-throughs Meets ~75% of expected Tool & Die competencies Reliable, long-term mindset Preferred Journeyman Tool & Die Maker card (preferred, not required) Prior apprenticeship experience Supplier toolroom background (non-production) Full Address 5461 Circle Seven Drive Dundee
