Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Tool Room Machinist to join our team in a permanent, full-time capacity. Your Impact In this position, you will be responsible for the following: Configure and run manual equipment, including grinders, mills, and lathes, to produce parts ranging from simple to moderately complex designs. Help ensure production accuracy by marking and scribing reference points on stock, while collaborating with Tool & Die Makers on layout planning and dimensional calculations. Secure components within holding fixtures and utilize manual tools to assemble mechanisms and parts. Ensure all completed components meet strict quality standards by utilizing precision measurement equipment. Support the daily operations of Tool and Die Makers and Tool Grinders. Maintain and organize the necessary measurement devices and work tools required for the job. Complete additional tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications What You Bring:
A high school diploma or GED, complemented by two years of machining trade school and two years of relevant manufacturing or tool room experience, or an equivalent mix of training and work history. Demonstrated proficiency in reading technical prints and applying Geometric Dimension & Tolerancing principles. Prior hands-on experience with CNC programming.
