Day Shift | 6:00 AM•6:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
Hire Type :
Direct Hire Pay Range :
$20•23/hour (based on experience)

Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, Paid Holidays The Repair Shop Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, and maintaining molds and tooling to support production and quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work safely while following established procedures and quality criteria. Responsibilities Inspect molds and tooling for damage, wear, and overall condition Test molds for proper mechanical function, fit of moving parts, and water leaks Verify tooling accuracy using measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications Diagnose defective or damaged molds and recommend repairs or modifications Prepare tooling components for outgoing setups Inspect incoming molds and tooling (new and used) Perform preventative maintenance, including cleaning, inventory, and proper storage Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance procedures Qualifications 6 months to 1 year of shop repairing experience Basic electrical troubleshooting skills are a plus Ability to read basic electrical schematics Experience using a multimeter to check continuity and heaters is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a production-focused environment
