Also to attend assigned clinics and work with a multidisciplinary team providing the team and patient / family with expertise in Seating and Positioning, and DME. Demonstrates knowledge & skills necessary to assess, set goals, & plan for care of infants, toddlers, preschool, school age, adolescents & young adults with a variety of orthopedic needs, to provide the most appropriate seating system for the patient. Patient treatment is carried out in accordance with standards of care and under the direction of a Physical or Occupational Therapist. Demonstrates knowledge & skills to coordinate the various team members. Planning involves team members, patient/family members, and appropriate community providers. Demonstrates knowledge, skills & ability to provide for adaptive equipment needs of the patient. Follows department policy of working through vendors & patient insurance, or donations from outside sources. Evaluates and monitors need for adaptive equipment, wheelchairs, and seating systems. Maintains working space in clean and safe manner, adhering to physical environment guidelines of the hospital. This is not an all-inclusive list of this job's responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Required:

CPR certification or the ability to complete within three months of hire

Preferred:

2 years seating and mobility technology ATP certification
