Job Title:
Tool Room Supervisor Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Tool Room Supervisor to ensure proper production tool management in alignment with established procedures and policies. The role involves overseeing the processes related to the issuance, receipt, and storage of production tools, hand tools, and other test equipment. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining tool logs, managing inventory, and generating necessary documentation for ordering new, replacement, or repair of production tools. Additionally, the role requires maintaining and monitoring the calibration program for all production tools, reading and interpreting tool drawings, and inspecting and approving tools per production quality requirements. Responsibilities Manage requisition processes to ensure efficient tool availability. Oversee purchase order management to facilitate timely tool procurement. Supervise receipt management to ensure accuracy in tool delivery. Maintain comprehensive inventory management to track tool usage and availability. Manage repaired parts to ensure they meet production standards. Essential Skills Proficiency with SAP. Experience in toolroom and inventory management. Strong supervisory and management skills. Familiarity with manufacturing and tooling processes. Ability to work with power tools and manage tool inventory. Additional Skills & Qualifications Associate's Degree required. 5+ years of experience supervising or managing a stores room or tool room/crib environment. Experience managing or supervising direct reports. Experience with receipt and inventory management. Experience managing repair parts. Experience with supplier communication. Work Environment The role is based in a Tool Room that supports aircraft manufacturing lines, offering a fast-paced and engaging environment where safety and quality are prioritized. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Philadelphia, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
