About the Role As a Precision Swiss CNC Technician, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing ecosystem by ensuring the seamless production of complex, high-tolerance components. You will leverage your technical expertise to manage machine setups, optimize tooling, and guarantee that every part meets rigorous quality standards, directly impacting our ability to deliver excellence to our clients. Responsibilities Execute complex setups on Swiss-style lathes by interpreting technical blueprints and process documentation. Drive production efficiency by proactively managing tool offsets, wear adjustments, and machine maintenance. Perform critical first-article inspections to validate dimensional accuracy and geometric tolerances. Troubleshoot and resolve machining irregularities to minimize downtime and maintain consistent output. Collaborate with the production team to ensure seamless changeovers and adherence to safety protocols. Utilize precision measurement tools to verify that all components meet strict quality specifications. Qualifications Required Skills 3+ years of hands-on experience setting up and operating Swiss-type CNC lathes. Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings, including GD&T. Proven ability to perform tool changes and make precise machine adjustments independently. Strong mechanical aptitude with a deep understanding of tolerances and fits. Preferred Skills Direct experience with Star or Citizen Swiss-style machinery. Familiarity with CMM or advanced inspection technologies. Experience working with a diverse range of materials, including medical-grade alloys and plastics. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous process improvement.
