Job Description

Pay:
$25•$35 per hour
Hours:
5:50am•2:20pm Monday•Friday Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Toolroom Machinist with strong math skills who can set up, run, and troubleshoot machines independently. This role focuses on building and repairing jigs, fixtures, dies, and tooling — not just operating machines. You will be expected to take ownership of jobs from setup through final inspection. What You'll Do Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and part specifications Determine materials and machining approach for each job Set up and operate lathes and milling machines Machine and fabricate: Jigs & fixtures Dies and cutting tools Gauges and tooling Measure, mark, and inspect parts to ensure accuracy Order materials and tooling as needed Assist with simple fixture and jig design Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments
Required Qualifications:
Experience in a toolroom or similar machining environment Ability to set up AND run machines (not operator-only) Hands-on experience with lathes and milling machines (REQUIRED) Strong blueprint reading skills Solid math skills (geometry, measurements, tolerances)
Pay:
$25.00•$35.00 per hour
