Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Interpret blueprints and tool drawings/designs and implement engineering changes on molds and tools.
- Troubleshoot, solve and perform mold and tooling repairs and retrofit work.
- Repair hot runners systems, valve operated gating systems, water leaks, damages, etc.
- Perform mold repair and troubleshooting activities in the press during production runs.
- Perform regular mold preventive maintenance activities.
- Understanding of insert and version changes on molds.
- Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required.
- Knowledge of hand tool use and care.
Work Experience:
- 1 year of continuous employment
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Blueprint reading
- Electrical troubleshooting
