  • $29 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Mechanical blueprint interpretation Engineering equipment malfunctions diagnostics Technical troubleshooting support Mechanical troubleshooting Full Job Description One of our manufacturing clients is seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to support tooling and production operations at their facility in Madison, WI.

  • $27/hr
  • $29/hr
  • Shift:
  • 3rd shift
Responsibilities:
Build, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain tooling, dies, fixtures, and related components Perform die setups, adjustments, and preventive maintenance activities Diagnose tooling and equipment issues to minimize downtime and improve production efficiency Operate tool room machinery including grinders, mills, lathes, and machining equipment Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications Inspect tooling and finished components using precision measuring instruments Support production teams with tooling modifications and continuous improvement initiatives Maintain maintenance records, tooling documentation, and work orders within CMMS systems
Qualifications:
Journeyman Tool & Die certification is a must 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment Strong mechanical troubleshooting and tooling repair skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications Experience operating machining equipment such as mills, grinders, and lathes
