Job Description
Do you love having the feeling of helping others but would like a more indirect approach? Here at Prosthetic Plus we fabricate devices for patients all over the United States. We distribute these devices from a non-clinical facility. Prosthetic Plus in Spencer, WI is looking for a full time Prosthetic Fabricator to join our team. Working hours would typically be Monday-Friday during the day. We are located at 415 W. Cedar St., Spencer, WI. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, motivated, reliable and able to work in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities Fabrication of Prosthetic devices. This includes but is not limited to plaster work, using grinding machines, laminations, and other manufacturing duties. Perform fabrication processes according to company quality and quantity standards. Follow and read work orders. Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work environment. Performs other duties or special projects as assigned. Qualifications Experience/certification in the industry is preferred but not required. Pay based on experience. Potential pay raise based on experience after 90 day probation period. Basic math, efficient hand skills, attention to detail, and experience with power tools. Benefits PTO, Vacation and Holiday pay. Supplemental insurance, Life, AD&D, LTD. Opportunity to be certified as a Prosthetic Technician. After working 2 years you'd be eligible to take a certification test vs. going to school.
