Sanitation Supervisor Department:

Sanitation Reports to: Quality Assurance

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Assist with all sanitation Programs and methods across the company ▪ Directly manages Sanitation Team Leaders and Sanitation Workers ▪ Ensure All sanitation programs across the company are in uniformity ▪ Empowers Sanitation Department to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices. ▪ Responsible for coordinating daily, periodic cleaning schedules and Master Sanitation Schedule ▪ Ensure sanitation resources including materials, equipment and human resources are available as needed to maintain the sanitation program. ▪ Investigate sanitation issues and work to identify root cause and corrective actions. ▪ Enforce all food safety programs, procedures, and policies ▪ Conduct daily, weekly employee performance adherence to SSOP's and motivating and disciplining employees to reach their maximum potential. ▪ Developed and implement effective cleaning methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems, improve sanitation efficiency, and improve product quality. ▪ Participate in 3rd party audits and provide documented corrective actions ▪ Ensure that all employees are adequately and properly trained in safety, sanitation procedures, chemical handling, GMP's, etc. ▪ Developed Lock Out/Tag Out and HAZCOM programs. ▪ Assist in the review of Safety rules and GMP rules. ▪ To ensure correct chemical use, formulation, preparation, and storage must be consistent with approved EPA, OSHA, and FDA regulations. ▪ To ensure that employees consistently use personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect against workplace hazards and to promote proper PPE usage ▪ Other duties and tasks as required

QUALIFICATIONS

▪ 5 years of experience as a Sanitation Supervisor in food manufacturing ▪ Understanding of GMP's, Safety, HACCP, Allergen control programs, Organic programs, quality programs, Sanitation, practices/auditing, preventive programs, and pest control programs. ▪ Ability to train personnel and to speak effectively before groups employees of organization. ▪ Knowledge of industrial microbiology ▪ Excellent knowledge of chemical handling and associated hazards ▪ Understand and comply with government regulations relating to OSHA, FDA and EPA ▪ Able to developed protocols in English and Spanish ▪ Excellent communication and organization kills ▪ Excellent knowledge of sanitary design sanitation and pest management in food processing. ▪ Computer skills (word, Excel, PowerPoint) To ensure that employees consistently use personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect against workplace hazards and to promote proper PPE usage) ▪ Required to work nights and support third shift operations

Pay:

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
