  • Full-time Company Nviro delivers integrated water and wastewater treatment solutions that support a sustainable future.
We simplify complex systems through a full-service approach: design, construction, operations, maintenance, compliance, and technology. With in-house manufacturing capabilities, we engineer high-performance equipment tailored to the needs of both industrial facilities and municipalities. Our mission is to leave systems better for our clients, our communities, and the environment. Opportunity Nviro is growing, and so is the number of communities and facilities that count on us to keep their water and wastewater systems running and in compliance. You'll own the daily performance of treatment facilities, lift stations, ponds, and disposal fields across our expanding client base. Responsibilities Perform daily routine inspection, monitoring, maintenance, and repairs of wastewater treatment facilities, equipment, lift stations, ponds, and disposal fields. Regulate the flow of wastewater through the treatment system, including operating and maintaining screens, grit and sludge collectors, pumps, blowers, aerators, and chlorinators. Understand and manage the biological treatment at different phases throughout the treatment process. Check and record data from meters, gauges, pumps, and control panels to verify equipment is operating correctly, and make repairs as needed. Respond to leaks and spills, blockages, and pump failures. Adjust treatment systems, chemical addition, and control systems to achieve optimum treatment results. Perform lab duties and field sampling. Complete all required logs and reporting. Plan, coordinate, review, and evaluate treatment facility, maintenance, and disposal activities. Perform routine inspection of water systems, treatment plants, and distribution systems. Check and record data from meters, gauges, pumps, and control panels to verify correct operation of equipment. Read water meters and respond to water leaks. Maintain system equipment such as wells, fire hydrants, meters, valves, cla-vals, PRVs, and vacuum breakers. Perform lab duties and sampling — pH, nitrates, chlorine residual, bacteriological, temperature, etc. Adjust treatment, chemical addition, and control systems for optimum results. Complete required logs and reporting. Communicate onsite issues to Nviro compliance staff and act as liaison between the client and Nviro. Support onsite staff with troubleshooting, constructive feedback, and skill development. Facilitate field documentation for the Compliance Manager. Review and improve field practices and procedures for efficiency and accuracy. Complete internal company calendars, log books, check sheets, and memos. Understand and adhere to company policies and operating procedures. Care for and maintain company-issued equipment. Maintain the certificates and licenses required for your assigned duties. Working knowledge of pumps, controllers, wells, VFDs, and SCADA systems. Effective communication skills — active listening and clear information sharing.
Comfort with everyday tech tools:
tablets, computers, smartphones, and common software/apps. Grade II Wastewater Treatment Operator license (strongly preferred).
