Job Description

Part-Time Water Treatment Field Technician Overview Join a growing family-owned water treatment company serving commercial and residential clients throughout South Florida. We are looking for a dependable, self-motivated Field Technician who enjoys working outdoors, solving problems, and taking pride in hands-on work. This position is ideal for someone with experience in plumbing, water treatment, irrigation, well systems, construction, maintenance, or other skilled trades. No license is required. We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn. As a Field Technician, you will play an important role in helping maintain safe, reliable water systems for our clients. Every day is different, offering a mix of routine service visits, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and occasional installations. What We Offer $200 per day starting pay Part-time schedule (3 days per week, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM) Opportunity for additional work days and overtime during installation projects Independent work environment with minimal micromanagement Hands-on training and growth opportunities within the water treatment industry Small family-owned company where your work is valued and appreciated Duties Visit commercial and residential water treatment sites Test and monitor chlorine systems and water treatment equipment Inspect and maintain water softeners, filtration systems, and related equipment Record operational data and maintain site log books Refill brine tanks with salt and perform routine maintenance tasks Troubleshoot water treatment equipment and mechanical issues Assist with installation of water softeners, filtration systems, chlorination equipment, well components, pumps, and PVC piping Communicate findings and service needs to management Maintain a professional and courteous relationship with clients Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times Qualifications Valid driver's license Bilingual (English/Spanish) a major plus Must own a reliable truck capable of transporting tools and materials Ability to work independently and manage a daily service route Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 40+ pound salt bags and chlorine containers Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Comfortable working outdoors in South Florida weather Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is a plus: PVC plumbing Water treatment systems Water softeners Well pumps and pressure systems Irrigation systems Mechanical maintenance Construction or skilled trades Chlorination systems Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who shows up on time, takes ownership of their work, and enjoys solving problems in the field.
