Full-time Job Description:

Landfill Gas Superintendent Landfill Gas Foreman/Superintendent with robust safety-oriented work ethic while keeping production running on a safe, profitable company timeline. IET performs repairs and modifications necessary to maintain and operate the LFG and leachate collection systems. IET also constructs landfill gas and leachate collection systems. Mechanically inclined with a knack for troubleshooting. Ability to read drawings/blueprints and ensure work is performed to specifications. HDPE Fusion Make repairs and modifications to wells, wellheads, collection lines, Condensate traps, migration probes, vaults, flares, and associated equipment. Fabricate repairs and install modifications to the LFG and leachate collection systems. Operate and perform maintenance on the LFG flare system. Connect pipe pieces and seal joints using fusion equipment by McElroy specifications. Cut pipes to required lengths for installation/repair of leachate pipe systems and/or sanitary or stormwater sewer structures. Lay out pipe routes, follow written instructions or blueprints, and coordinate layouts with supervisors and engineers. Align and position pipes to prepare them for installation Tap and drill holes into pipes to introduce auxiliary lines or devices. Locate existing pipes needing repair or replacement using site-specific blueprints or buried line indicators. Experience as an equipment operator is desired but not a requirement. Familiarity with equipment operation and a thorough understanding of equipment maintenance is necessary to ensure jobs remain on schedule.
