Job Description
We are seeking a permanent, committed individual for a small environmental firm. The job can be either full-time or part-time . Nassef Engineering & Equipment Co., Inc. (NEECO) has been in business since 1987 and did not lay off our employees during COVID. The selected individual will report to the owner. He will assist the owner in the maintenance of small alternative wastewater systems and shadow the owner to learn the necessary skills to advance in the company. He will be responsible for the upkeep of the grounds, the physical facility, the service vehicle, and the equipment. The selected individual should have a mechanical aptitude and the ability to work outside in different seasonal extremes. PVC piping and elementary knowledge of electrical devices is needed. The selected individual must have a high school diploma or equivalent. He must have a valid Florida driver's license with a good driving record and own a dependable vehicle. A working knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus but not required. He would service systems 6 to 8 days per month and work on designs, equipment, and the upkeep of the facility for the rest of the month. He should have excellent organizational skills, legible handwriting, and good communication skills. His advancement and compensation in the company will depend on how much responsibility he is able to assume and perform well. The more responsibility he takes on without direct supervision the more valuable he becomes. Dependability, punctuality, and integrity (having your word mean what you say) are a must.
