Reverse Osmosis Refurbishment Technician 333 North Falkenburg Road, Tampa, FL 33619 $25 an hour - Part-time, Full-time $25 an hour - Part-time, Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Reverse Osmosis Refurbishment Technician to join our water treatment team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and refurbishing reverse osmosis (RO) systems to ensure optimal performance and water quality. Your expertise will help support our mission to deliver clean, safe water through efficient system operations and maintenance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with advanced water treatment equipment, heavy machinery, and innovative control systems in a dynamic environment dedicated to environmental sustainability and public health. Duties Disassemble water treatment systems and related mechanical assemblies Inspect components, instruments, piping, fittings, and hardware to determine condition and functionality Identify damaged, worn, or non-functional parts requiring replacement or repair Tag, label, and document all components during disassembly to ensure accurate tracking and reassembly Utilize company tracking systems/software to record parts, repairs, inventory, and project progress Reassemble refurbished systems according to specifications and operational requirements Conduct functional checks and assist with testing to ensure systems operate properly after rebuild Maintain organized workspaces and proper inventory accountability Follow all company safety procedures and operational standards Assist with loading/unloading equipment and moving components as needed Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair and maintenance of complex systems Knowledge of wastewater treatment principles and operations in water treatment facilities Ability to operate heavy equipment safely for construction or maintenance tasks involving tanks or large machinery Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and data analysis related to system performance Excellent analysis skills for diagnosing issues quickly and implementing effective solutions Experience with plumbing work including pipe fitting, leak repairs, and system connections Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity over extended periods Join us as a Reverse Osmosis Refurbishment Technician if you're passionate about environmental sustainability, thrive in hands-on technical roles, and want to make a meaningful impact by ensuring the delivery of high-quality water through innovative treatment solutions.
