A power generation company operating in wholesale energy markets is seeking a Chemical Engineer to lead critical engineering functions that support safe and reliable plant operations. Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing engineering and technical services supporting power generation operations
Lead and manage chemistry and water treatment programs, to ensure regulatory compliances and system reliability
Collaborate with operations, maintenenace, and leadership teams
Drive continous improvement initiatives related to performance, safety, and cost efficiency
Qualifications:
5-7 years of experience in chemistry and water treatment, within a power plant or municipal utility setting
Bachelor's degree in Engineering required
Advanced knowledge of water treatment systems, chemistry control, and regulatory compliance
Proven ability to work independently while collaborating across departments
