COMPANY OVERVIEW
Since 1976, H2O Well Service has helped more than 10,000 property owners across North Idaho and Eastern Washington build, repair, and maintain complete water systems — from water well drilling and pump installation to water purification and treatment. Our water treatment services are built specifically for well water, including systems designed to eliminate odors and minerals so customers have fresh, healthy water in their homes and businesses. We are a local, family-oriented company rooted in the communities we serve: Coeur d'Alene, Hayden, Sandpoint, Sagle, Spokane, and Deer Park.
POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Plumber Trainee / Apprentice to join our growing team. This role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of residential and commercial water treatment and purification systems across Washington and Idaho. You will work directly alongside licensed journey-level plumbers and water treatment professionals, gaining specialized, hands-on experience in a rapidly growing sector of the trade. If you have a solid foundation in general labor, a year of plumbing under your belt, and a drive to master water quality mechanics, we want to hear from you.

Piping & Fitting:
Measure, cut, thread, and assemble copper, PEX, CPVC, and PVC piping and fixtures to code specifications.
Service & Maintenance:
Assist with routine system maintenance, filter replacements, media rebeds, and diagnostic troubleshooting on existing customer systems.
Job Site Readiness:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Manage inventory on service trucks and ensure all necessary tools and components are ready for daily dispatches.
Regulatory Compliance:
Adhere strictly to Washington (Labor & Industries) and Idaho (DOPL) plumbing codes, as well as industry safety standards (OSHA).
Customer Service:
Interact professionally with homeowners and business clients, representing the company with integrity and clearly explaining basic system operations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Professional Experience Minimum of 3 years of overall work experience in a mechanical, construction, or demanding physical labor environment. Trade Experience Minimum of 1 years of dedicated experience in the plumbing trade (residential or commercial).
