Job Description

Black Ark Builders is looking for an exceptional field leader to help drive production, accountability, quality, and culture across our heavy civil projects. We are open to candidates coming from a Lead Operator, Foreman, Superintendent , or similar leadership background. What matters most is finding someone who leads by example, takes ownership, and maintains high standards for both themselves and their crew. This is a field leadership role. We are not looking for a manager who spends most of their time behind a desk. We are looking for someone who enjoys being in the field, solving problems, supporting crews, maintaining production, and helping projects succeed.
Our work includes:
Underground utilities Wastewater infrastructure Deep excavation Slide rail and hydraulic shoring Dewatering systems Industrial and commercial civil construction Structural and mass excavation What You'll Be Responsible For Leading crews safely and efficiently Coordinating daily field operations Supporting operators, laborers, and subcontractors Planning work and removing obstacles before they become problems Maintaining production, quality, and accountability Communicating effectively with field and office leadership Building a strong culture of ownership and teamwork Helping develop and mentor field personnel What We're Looking For Strong heavy civil construction experience Leadership experience in excavation, utilities, wastewater, or related civil work High personal accountability and integrity Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to earn respect through actions, not title Problem-solving mindset Comfortable making decisions in the field Humble, team-oriented leadership style Preferred Experience Wastewater treatment facilities Lift stations Deep utility excavation Slide rail systems Hydraulic shoring Dewatering operations Utility installation and pipe crews Excavation production management Foreman, lead operator, or superintendent responsibilities Position Details Full-time Meridian / Boise Area Field-based role Competitive compensation based on experience and capability We are looking for the best available candidate, not the candidate with the most impressive title. Pay:
$44.03 - $58.29 per hour
