Job Summary:

Seeking a Sanitation Supervisor to oversee 3rd shift sanitation operations within a food manufacturing facility. This role will partner closely with another Supervisor and report directly to the Sanitation Manager. The ideal candidate will have strong union leadership experience, a stable work history, and the ability to lead a large sanitation team while ensuring compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.

Job Duties:

Supervise and direct nightly sanitation operations for a large hourly union workforce Enforce safety, GMP, HACCP, allergen, SQF, and housekeeping standards Train, coach, and develop sanitation team members while maintaining accountability Ensure proper use of sanitation chemicals, tools, and cleaning procedures Maintain sanitation documentation and verify completion of sanitation tasks Communicate sanitation issues and corrective actions to leadership teams Support continuous improvement initiatives and sanitation program effectiveness Collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, and plant leadership teams Foster a positive, respectful, and performance-driven work environment

Qualifications:

5+ years of sanitation supervisory experience in food manufacturing required Previous experience managing union employees required Experience leading large teams (40+ employees preferred) Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle preferred Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Must be flexible to support additional hours, weekends, or alternate shifts as needed College degree in a related field preferred Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
