Wastewater Treatment Works Senior Operator Summary:

The Village of Minooka has an excellent opportunity for a Waste Water Treatment Works Senior Operator in the Public Works Department. This position will be covered under the Minooka Public Works Union Local 150 at a $51.94 per hour wage.

Duties:

The following duties represent a general range of assignments to the position but are not intended to define the limits of required duties. The position must efficiently lead operations at the water reclamation plant that include a large series of pumps, motors, instrumentation, system controls, and SCADA systems. Also be able to perform daily operations including lab testing and documenting information required to follow compliance to the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.

Requirements:

This person shall have good computer knowledge, good verbal and written communications skills. Work cooperatively and maintain effective working relationships to accomplish job requirements. Shall have a Class 1 Illinois Waste Water Treatment Works Operator License or be able to obtain the Class 1 license by October 1st 2026. Must be able to obtain a class "B" CDL Illinois Motor Vehicle Operator License within 6 months. Applications for this position are available at the Minooka Village Hall located at 121 E.
