Job Description

Sanitation Manager - 3rd Shift In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing third‑shift sanitation operations at our Indianapolis, Indiana manufacturing facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead a team to ensure food safety, regulatory compliance, and a safe work environment. The work schedule is from 11:00pm - 7:00am, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend shifts. A Taste of Responsibilities Lead a team of supervisors to maintain a safe and compliant manufacturing environment Implement sanitation programs to meet food safety requirements Manage the plant Master Sanitation Schedule Inspect equipment and facility spaces to identify sanitation gaps Collaborate with other teams to improve sanitation processes Manage vendor relationships for sanitation services Track expenses and develop the annual department budget Implement standard operating procedures and provide training on safety best practices Lead safety coaching and reinforce Good Manufacturing Practices Monitor sanitation performance metrics and implement improvement plans Participate in continuous improvement initiatives Ingredients Required for Success High school diploma or GED required Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a sanitation focus Experience in a food manufacturing facility Direct in-house sanitation experience Supervisory experience Knowledge of sanitation programs and regulations Experience with continuous improvement Budget and vendor management experience preferred CIP experience is a plus SAP and Food lock experience preferred SQFA certification is a plus Physical Requirements More information about essential tasks and the facility will be shared during the hiring process. This role may require you to be in their manufacturing facilities. When visiting these sites, the physical requirements below may apply: Walking, climbing stairs/ladders, kneeling, and performing repetitive tasks Lifting or carrying materials of varying weights and sizes Operating in a noisy and changing temperature environment Relocation assistance is available for this position nationally and there is a relocation package.
