Hiring Agency Tourism, Arts, & Heritage Cabinet | Kentucky Department of Parks Location 1825 Battlefield Road Perryville, KY 40468 USA Description Join Our Team at Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site. The Kentucky Department of Parks is hiring a Water and Sewage Plant Operator I to help preserve and maintain one of Kentucky's most significant historic landmarks. As our Water and Sewage Plant Operator I, you'll play a vital role in keeping Perryville Battlefield running smoothly. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Operation and maintenance of a sewage treatment plant including pumps, lift stations, filters, UV lights Collects wastewater samples, performs tests, and adds prescribed chemicals. Inspects gauges and records information. Maintains required records and reports and submits them as required. Work alongside team members and staff in all areas to accomplish the goals of the park including assisting in mowing, weed eating, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, carpentry, and other general maintenance.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
(AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must have a valid Class I (or higher) water treatment operator's license and/or a Class I (or higher) wastewater operator's license as issued by the Kentucky Natural Resources and Environmental Protection Cabinet.
